Call to Prayer
Thanksgivings and prayer requests for May 18-24.

Friday:
- Pray for the men's small group that they will experience deep fellowship with God and meaningful fellowship with one another tomorrow morning. Give thanks for the new ministry that the men have just completed.
- Pray for guidance for outreach through soccer and parenting courses next fall.
- Pray for God to speak through all that is done and said in our worship service this Sunday and that each person present will love, trust God, and obey more and more.
- Pray for God to touch people at the Mission with His love as they received sandwiches that people from our community provide each week.
- Give thanks for the good weather for this weekend. Pray for those camping to enjoy good fellowship as well as worship of God.
Saturday:
- Pray that everyone who attends our church tomorrow will worship God with all their heart, mind, soul, and strength and that their/our lives will be more transformed by the Holy Spirit so that we can be more effective in our witness for Christ.
- Pray for the preaching of God's word tomorrow.
- Pray for leaders and children in Upstreet Sunday School, First Look Sunday School, and the nursery. Give thanks God providing a person to coordinate the nursery.
- Pray that we will show hospitality toward newcomers and that they, and all of us, will experience genuine fellowship, belonging, and desire to serve.
- Pray for the three adult groups that are meeting tomorrow at 9 a.m. on Evangelism, Fellowship, and SHAPE.
Sunday:
- Pray that we will allow the Holy Spirit to accomplish all the Father desires in us and every person who comes to our church today. Give thanks for God's presence and all He is doing in each one of us each Sunday and during the week.
- Pray for the Worship Team and Pastor Shawn as they share with us today.
- Pray for the ministry of the prayer teams.
- Pray for the Love and Respect small group.
- Pray for the SHAPE small group that is meeting tonight.
- Pray for the small group meeting at Giesbrecht's tonight.
- Pray for the Bible study by email.
Monday:
- Give thanks for our elders. Pray for God's guidance as they plan for the future.
- Pray for the Senior Youth Group. Pray for plans for the mission trip.
- Pray for the SHAPE small group meeting in Manotick this morning.
- Pray for the small group meeting in Embrun tonight as they seek to apply the book of Romans to their lives.
- Pray for all the YouFeedThem projects that are currently underway, including: the electricity project in the village in Yogo, and the water project and the building of a school in the village of Seje.
Tuesday:
- Pray for 14 volunteers to lead/assist with small groups at Upwards Soccer Camp and Vacation Bible School.
- Pray for the Junior Youth group and their leaders.
- Pray for the College and Career group as they meet tonight to study and apply the SHAPE course.
- Pray for the spiritual growth, fellowship, and ministry of the Knitting group.
- Pray for the library to feed our people's faith and ability to witness for Christ. Give thanks for the team that keeps the library up to date.
- Praise God for the camp registrations that are coming in quickly! Pray for God's choice of 11-14 year old kids to fill the last 14 spots. Praise God for a speaker and many volunteers. Pray for the needed lifeguard, program director and 4 counselors.
Wednesday:
- Give thanks and pray for our worship bands as they practice and lead in worship.
- Pray for the small group studying "Hearing God's Voice".
- Pray for the small group meeting near Vernon tonight as they study and apply the SHAPE course.
Thursday:
- Thanks God for the openess of each person in the Alpha group. Pray that each person will have an enlarged understanding of The Holy Spirit as they listen to the talk tonight.
- Give thanks for how the Holy Spirit is helping individuals to understand their shape for ministry through the SHAPE small gorup course. Pray for the new SHAPE group that is meeting in Ottawa tonight.
- Give thanks for the generousity of the people of our church. Pray that our weekly givings will meet the budget and that all outreach and ministry will go forward according to the will of God.
- Pray that every person in our church will move forward step by step to witness and minister to others day by day. Give thanks for the growth and ministry that is taking place.
- Give thanks for another person who attends our church and who has recently received Christ as Saviour and is desiring to follow Him as Lord. Pray for more and more people to receive Jesus as Saviour and Lord and be filled and led by the love and power of the Holy Spirit every day.
- Pray for all of us to become better followers of Jesus as He walks with us and seeks to lead us.
