What an awesome thought! Big houses, cars and fancy clothes will all pass away. Big mortgages, traffic jams and seventies style leisure suits will all pass away. The world and all its desires will pass away but the man who does the will of God lives forever.
What we often forget is forever starts now. The man who does the will of God has eternal life now. What does it mean to live forever today? How can this profound statement make your life better not just in heaven but also right now?
This weekend through gifted speakers, video, music and discussion we will explore your God given design. Join us, bring some other men with you and together we will discover what it means to live forever – today. Hear God speak powerfully through the following speakers.
Shane Claiborne is a sought after speaker and prominent Christian activist. A founding partner of The Simple Way Community. Author of The Irresistible Revolution, and co-author of recently released Jesus for President. His ministry experience is varied, from a 10-week stint working alongside Mother Teresa in Calcutta, to a year spent serving a wealthy mega-congregation at Willow Creek Community Church outside Chicago. Shane spent three weeks in Baghdad with the Iraq Peace Team (a project of Voices in the Wilderness and Christian Peacemaker Teams). Shane writes and travels extensively.
Douglas Weiss, Ph.D is an internationally sought-after speaker on marriage, recovery and men's issues. He is Executive Director of Heart to Heart Counselling Center. Dr. Doug has authored 16 books including Sex, Men and God.
Rev. Dr. Lennett J. Anderson, Jr. is known as a Dynamic, Inspirational, Motivational Preacher, Teacher and Community Activist. He is Senior Pastor of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Upper Hammonds Plains, Nova Scotia.
