Are you hurting? Is someone you love hurting? There’s no doubt, we are living in uncertain times. Some people are losing their jobs or homes. Others are suffering emotionally from their hurts. Many are losing their hope for the future. It seems everybody needs to recover from something. But the good news is that Jesus gave us a way to recover that will work for every problem we face.
Life’s Healing Choices is a brand-new small group curriculum based on a book by John Baker and taught by Pastor Rick Warren. It offers solutions to our hurts, hang-ups, and habits in 8 weekly sessions on DVD, along with a study guide for personal study and our own pastor’s 8 week sermon series that introduces the weekly small group topic.
You don’t have to hurt alone. Make healing choices by taking this important spiritual growth journey.

Guidelines for Life’s Healing Choices Small Groups
- Split up into gender-specific groups for the discussion time.
- Keep your sharing focused on your own thoughts and feelings.
- Each person is free to express feelings without interruption up to a maximum of 3-5 minutes. More time can be given if really required.
- We are here to support one another. We will not attempt to fix one another.
- Privacy and confidentiality are basic requirements. What is shared in the group stays in the group. The only exception is when someone threatens to harm themselves or others.
