Not a Fan
beginning the week of January 29, 2012: You are welcome to joing any group after this date. Never too late to join.
An exciting and powerful six-week sermon-aligned small group experience which will be offered to our congregation and their friends and acquaintances beginning the week of January 29, 2012.
Not a Fan is a creative and unique way of introducing people to Christ and for all of us to let Him be Lord of our lives to His glory and our joy. The small group uses a 30 minute video teaching-drama that reinforces the theme that our Pastor will have introduced on Sunday and leads into a half hour of Bible study.

Video Teaching Combined with Bible Study on Changing Our Attitudes, Sundays, 9-10 a.m. at TBCO continuing Jan. 8 2012. Would you be surprised to know that the joy and fruitfulness that God wants to flow into your life doesn't come by way of your circumstances or your relationships, or even your life's calling? It's all about your attitude-your patterns of thinking formed over time about how you look at life. Although you can't change your attitudes in a few minutes, you can admit the wrong ones and begin working on the right ones. The fact is most people don't want to change until they know for sure that "their thing" isn't working. Are you open to considering what the Lord has to say about your attitudes? Are you willing to go after this change with urgency? Dr. James MacDonald brings God's Word to bear on your most important daily choice. "Today, if you would hear [God's] voice, do not harden your hearts" (Psalm 95:7-8)
Messages in this series:
Replace a Complaining Attitude (Numbers 11:1-3)
With a Thankful Attitude (Luke 17:11-19)
Replace a Covetous Attitude (Numbers 11:4-25)
With an Attitude of Contentment (I Timothy 6:6-10)
Replace a Critical Attitude (Numbers 12:1-6)
With an Attitude of Love (I Corinthians 13:1-8a)
Replace a Doubting Attitude Numbers 13-14:11)
With an Attitude of Faith (Hebrews 11)
Replace A Rebellious Attitude (Numbers 16)
With a Submissive Attitude (I Peter 2:13-25)
Lord, Heal Me (Numbers 21:4-9)

- Community Groups It’s a part of our daily life. We rub shoulders with people and while it’s not always easy, it is necessary for us to learn how to live with one another. At Trinity Bible Church, community is one of our core values. Community means each person makes a 'common commitment' to know others and be known by others, to allow God’s Word to define what is true and what matters most, and to be answerable to others for our progress in maturing spiritually. The goals of our community groups are as follows:
-
- Growing spiritually together
- Building relationships within families
- Reaching out to the non-churched in a simple, casual way
- Spending non-structured time together
- Caring for each other in practical ways; and
- Serving together
All our group leaders are committed to strive for these goals. Groups normally meet during the school year September—May (or longer if that’s what the group wants).
