Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver
2 Corinthians 9:7
At Trinity, we believe that Christians are to be generous with the blessings God has given them. Your gifts do more than keep our lights on...they help us create opportunities for our congregation to learn and grow, for friends and family to be introduced to Jesus, and allow us to serve our community both locally and globally.
How to Give
Receipts for tax purposes are provided by TBCO for donations throughout the year in February when you give in any of the following four ways:
During the service. Un-numbered envelopes are available for regular giving. Contact the office (firstname.lastname@example.org) to obtain your personal envelope number and envelopes.
By setting up Trinity Bible Church of Ottawa as a payee with your online banking facility. Use your envelope number as the "invoice" number.
Before or after the service by using your debit or credit card. Provide your envelope number for receipt purposes. A table is set up for accepting such payments in the foyer.
By completing and providing the office with an authorization agreement that would allow TBCO to automatically withdraw an amount that you specify from your bank account each month.
If you have any questions concerning these options, you may contact the TBCO office. Please note we cannot accept email transfers.
You may also give online through Canada Helps. You may connect to Canada Helps by the link below. Canada Helps deducts a 3.5% fee and then sends the donation directly to us. Canada Helps (not TBCO) will email to you your official tax receipt for the full amount of your donation. You may choose to receive your receipt each time you donate, or you may choose to receive your receipt annually.
